We have a few little coffee trees just outside the roastry and they have just started to bloom. Its so exciting to watch these little trees grow as our business grows. It is our dream to plant more coffee trees when we have the space to do so so that we can really experience the whole process from tree to cup. But for now we will enjoy watching these buds bloom and change.

A little bit of history. Thank you @foodagnetwork for sharing this Reposted from @foodagnetwork - Picture and great read courtesy @sunshinecoastcouncil ........ In the 1890s Buderim was known worldwide for its amazing coffee - thanks a 'latte' to the rich volcanic soil.

The early coffee pioneers of Buderim reared the young coffee plants in a nursery before planting them among rows of banana plants to give them shelter. When large enough to survive on their own, it was out with the banana plants!
